Hypnosis for stopping smoking is scientifically proven to be more effective than any other therapy and is 100% safe. In fact, this form of therapy has been proven to increase a smoker's success chances from 6% to 60%.
These are the research based success rates for different smoking cessation methods:
60% - single session hypnosis
24% - acupuncture
10% - nicotine replacement therapy
6% - willpower alone.
Hypnotherapy has been approved for use by the UK Government and the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is also an independently researched and proven therapy, similarly approved by NICE. Here at The Hitchin Hypnotherapy Practice I use a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy-based approach to treating my clients and have a success rate exceeding the national average of 60%. I use a combination of information gathering, motivational interviewing, Clinical Hypnosis, emotional freedom technique (EFT) or 'Tapping', and aversion therapy reinforcing the fact that you are now a non-smoker throughout the process. I also provide a personalised Quit Smoking recording of your therapy session, so that you can continue to reinforce the messages to your sub-conscious mind as often as you find this helpful in the comfort of your own home.
If you are committed to giving up smoking, you may be able to quit easily using will-power alone. However, many people choose to seek some help in the form of hypnotherapy, which is proven to remove the cravings associated with giving up smoking.
The only requirement I have of you is that you must be totally committed to giving up smoking because YOU want to be free of the habit.... not your partner, child, parent or friend. And that you are happy to be contacted occasionally after your therapy to make sure you are still a non-smoker.
Please note that if you have self-limiting beliefs about your ability to give up, or believe there will be negative consequences for yourself as a result (e.g. put on weight, and this creates anxiety), you will need to work with me to change your mind-set (using feelings, beliefs and memories work) before we can start the hypnotherapy for quitting smoking.
How much would you pay for another 20 years of quality life?
The cost of my highly effective Quitting Smoking therapy is £195.00. This is delivered in two parts and includes a one hour motivational interview to discuss your completed Quit Smoking questionnaire and understand your smoking habit in depth, followed by a 1.5 hour hypnotherapy with personalised recording. It is usual for these sessions to be sufficient; however you can continue to practice at home using your personalised hypnotic recording, as many times as you wish. Please see the Terms and Conditions on the "About Us" page for payment details including BACS details.
Simply call me on 07805 792191 or use my contact form to arrange a free telephone consultation with no obligation to proceed. It will save time if you could consider your responses to the questions in the Quitting Smoking questionnaire above (not displayed on mobile devices), which you can view and print and bring with you to your session.
